Daddy!RussiaXMommy!Reader: Baby

You were silently rocking back and forth in your chair with a small smile on your lips as you rub your huge belly. Humming quietly as you looked out the window as well staring at white snow outside. It always snowed in Russia and you loved it. The scenery was breathtaking and you loved the cold. "I can't wait to hold you in my arms little one," you said talking to your stomach. In a few days it would be 9 months and you were getting excited to finally hold your child.

"__-________?" someone said. You look up from your belly to one of the youngest Baltic who was hiding behind the doorway.

"Yes?" you said tilting your head to the side. The shy little Baltic known as Latvia finally came out of his hiding.

"I j-just wanted to tell you that Mr. Russia won't be coming home today he's been busy with many meetings he has to attend," Latvia said. Your smile turned into a frown.

"I see.." you said. Latvia saw you sadden and freaked out. He didn't like the idea of Russia stretching him again for making his wife sad.

"B-But don't worry he will t-try to do his best to come!" Latvia said nervously smiling. You didn't respond but just gave the small Baltic a fake smile. The small boy then ran off to do more chores. You sighed getting off from your rocking chair slowly. As you got to your feet you made your way to your coat and put it on. You walked to the entrance of the house quietly not wanting the Baltic's to know that you are leaving. As you opened the door the winter cold outside hits you hard and a small smile forms on your lips as you walk out. You wrap your arms around your belly keeping it warm. You walk around in the snow quietly kicking the snow with your boots like a little child. This is what you always did when your husband, Ivan, is out and working. So you would just go outside and enjoy the weather. You missed him a lot since he was always out and never had time to be with you. But when he did he was always tired and slept the whole time and then the next day he was gone. It really did make you sad seeing him like that but being a country wasn't easy either. After what seemed like forever you decided to come back.

"I should head back the others might be worried," you thought as you made your way back to the house. When you did you heard the sound of something breaking and cries. You got very worried and went to where the noises emitted.

"I told you not to let her out of your sights!" a mad Russian man said standing in front of three scared Baltic nations. The bigger country had a pipe in his hands and he was glaring at the three. His glare made shivers go down your spine. You've never seen him this mad before.

"P-Please Mr. Russia have m-mercy!" Lithuania said.

"Your all going to pay," Russia said lifting his rusty pipe.

"I-Ivan?" you said the four nations turned their heads toward you. Next thing you knew you were in the arms of your husband protectively. You were very confused but your hugged him back. You looked at the three other nations and with that they left quietly.

"Where were you _________…..I was so worried," the light haired man said tightening his arms around you but not to hard.

"I was just out for a walk," you said backing up and grabbing the man's face gently in your hands. "Sorry I made you all worry but I knew the Baltic's wouldn't let me out so I just left on my own," you said and gave him a smile. The Russian man still had the worried look. You rolled your eyes and kissed his nose. "I missed you Ivan," you said. The Russian man blushed a bit and childishly smile back.

"I did too," he said. "But next time you shouldn't go outside yourself its dangerous for a pregnant women to be out!" he said.

"Don't worry I know everything about snow," you said. Ivan chuckled and rubbed your belly,

"How's little one doing?" Russia said leaning his ear against your stomach. In response the child inside you kicked. You smiled.

"Good," you responded.

"Only a few more days da?"

"Yes."

"I'm very happy." You look at your husband happily. "I have you and my sisters and now I have my own child!" he says but then he looks puzzled. You raise an eyebrow. "What is little one doesn't like me?" he asked looking at you.

"Ivan of course the baby will like you! Don't say such ridiculous things," you said putting your hands on your hips. "You'll be the best father in the world." Ivan smiled and kissed you full on the lips.

"And you'll be the best mother in the world."

-----Time skip to a year later brought to you by vodka!-----

"Latvia have you seen [child's name]?" you said looked for your baby child who now knows how to crawl.

"N-No I haven't seen [him/her]," Latvia said looking around as well.

"Where could a one year old go!" you said running around the house frantically looking for your baby.

"What seems to be the problem?" Ivan said coming out of his study.

"I can't find [child's name]!" you said. Estonia who was just passing by heard what you said.

"Oh I think [he/she] is with Belarus, I saw them a little while ago in the living room," Estonia said. Both you and Russia both paled and you both rushed to the living room.

"[Child's name]!" both of you went into the living room to see Belarus holding something in her arms. Belarus turns her head.

"Oh you finally came," she said and turned to reveal your one year old in her arms in a cute baby [dress/suit]. "I bought [him/her] a new outfit," she said plainly holding out the baby to you. You grab your child from the nation.

"Thank you Natalya," you said. You look at your smiling baby.

"I must go now have a good day," Belarus said and left the room. Russia sighed in relief and looked at the child in your arms. You giggled.

"What?" he said.

"Nothing just happy that she doesn't chase you around anymore," you said.

"It still creeps me out just remembering that," he said.

"Da!" said [child's name]. You smiled.

"[His/Her] first word in Russian," Ivan said picking the little baby up. The baby cooed and cuddled against [her/his] father's embrace.

"And you said the baby wouldn't like you," you said remembering from back then.
